Located in Muskegon, Michigan; AFI employs 14 experienced design engineers and
journeyman toolmakers. With over 250 years of combined experience in the design
and build of turbine airfoil wax injection dies, ceramic core dies, fixtures, and gauges;
we have the knowledge and skill to ensure our commitment to quality is met.

Our main customer base includes foundries & machine shops producing completed
product for turbine engine producers. While we specialize in the design and build of
electronic gauges for Aerospace and IGT turbine engine high & low pressure components,
we also work with automotive part suppliers here in Michigan, providing them with the
quality tooling and machining they need, all in a “one-stop-shop”.

AFI has AS9100B annual certification since March 2005 AFI has NADCAP annual
c ertification for Non-conventional machining since January 2006.

AFI currently offers multi-axis CNC EDM, CNC speed hole EDM drill, CNC mill,
CNC grind and CNC turn machining for the Aerospace and IGT castings produced
at investment casting foundries for turbine engine producers. Our machining
capabilities range from simple CNC Mill or EDM gate removal to full airfoil machining,
welding and fabrication of engine ready aerospace and IGT components
