Who is NTMA?
NTMA
Training Centers are the premier trainers for nearly 10,000 men
and women
in tooling, machining and manufacturing since 1968. NTMA is a
not-for-profit college that
has four campuses in Southern California: Norwalk, Ontario, North
Hollywood and Costa Mesa.
With dedicated faculty and state-of-the-art machinist training,
graduates have been leading
successful careers in the manufacturing, tooling and machinist
industry. The Advanced Machinist
Training Program provides instruction in set up and operation
of conventional machines, such
as mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses and saws. Instruction
also includes topics in safety,
quality control and inspection procedures, shop theory, precision
measuring, blueprint reading
and basic CNC operation.
Within 30 short weeks (5days a week,) students can change their
lives forever and realize a
career that is in demand by the industry. Labor statistics show
that the manufacturing/machining
industry is climbing.....

also offers State-Funded Advanced Retraining Programs in:
CNC, Mastercam,
and Inspection. With flexible class schedules, top-notch instructors,
and equipment. If your
company qualifies, employers and employees can up-grade their
skills at no cost , except for
books. Classes are forming now. Seating is very limited

also offers Career Development and Job Placement
services to our graduates.
Through a series of Career Development seminars, each graduate
is given the opportunity to
create and format professional resumes. Prior to their graduation,
our Placement Coordinators
meet one-on-one with every student in order to ascertain each
student's individual needs
and properly prepare them for their new career.
Every
Placement Coordinator strives to ensure that each placement is
a good match between
the student and the employer. NTMA is proud to have over 12,000
machine and manufacturing
companies supporting the student placement program. We are not
an employment agency and
